Rain, Rain, and Hummingbirds

On Sunday night, the Houston area got some much needed rain.  We received more this morning, but I just hope this is enough to keep those wild fires away.

We put a hummingbird feeder outside our back door and a day later we had hummingbirds!  Now, we can see 12 hummingbirds at the feeder at one time!  I’ve never seen such a sight.  I was so happy watching the rain fall and the hummingbirds flit around on Sunday night, I took a few photos to document the happy evening.  Our favorite is the ruby-throat hummingbird.  He looks good, and he knows it!
