Military Day at the Rodeo

Texas supplies the US Military with so many men and women, and how Texans react to this fact really touches my heart.  The Rodeo dedicated a day specifically as Military Day, allowing tickets and fares to be discounted for men and women of the United States Military.  It was great to see so many men and women out in uniform and with their families.

There was even a special part of the nightly program recognizing war heros, presenting the flag, and spotlighting military in the crowd.

The last thing that really touched my heart was seeing strangers stop men and women in uniform to say Thank you and to talk to them.  The next time you see a member of the United States military- stop them, say thank you, pick-up their check at dinner, do whatever you can, because they do so much for us.
