Google in the Wedding Business
Years ago, I rejoiced as I switched from Yahoo to Google. I still love all the new features Google is coming up with. I use google maps, google reader, igoogle, google Earth, google calendar, google search, Picasa, google documents, shopping, translate, images, books, etc, etc, etc. The list goes on and on and on. The only thing I don’t really use google for is their new phones, which I have heard good things about.
Anyways, I was thrilled when I heard they wanted into Weddings too! Google has a new site to help simplify planning your own wedding.
Google simplifies all parts of life, and now they are simplifying the stress of planning your own wedding.  My favorite feature is their sites to share with guests to let them know location, date, and registry information.
The rest sounds like stuff google already had, such as google documents, but they supply you with the things you need to think about, such as a music playlist for cocktail hour, bouquet toss, etc. Google Docs include:
- Wedding planner
- Address book
- Guest list
- Budget planner
- To-do list
- Seating chart
- Reception menu
- Music list
These are things that might slip your mind otherwise, and you will have people asking you “WHO PLANNED YOUR WEDDING!?!?! You don’t seem stressed at all.” You wish right 😉
