FAMILY COMES FIRST
This past weekend my Mom and I planned a trip to Disney World where I was scheduled to run in the Food and Wine Half Marathon. I have been training for months for the race, because it is my first time to ever run a half marathon. The night before we left, we found out that my Great Grandma had passed away at the age of 89.
The weekend turned out much differently than I expected as you can imagine. My grandma really did not want much done when she passed, so we just had a small family gathering including seeing relatives from out of town, welcoming a new baby coming into our family, and of course eating great food (My family loves to eat). I was hesitant about taking pictures at the event, but now I’m so glad I did. I am including some of them below.
I think the day was made easier by the nice weather, so that we could go outside and enjoy the sunshine. The new family puppy was also brought to the party, ready to pounce on family when they were laying on the ground or eating. The puppy is a black boxer named Gracie Mae- adorable! I’m taking pictures of that puppy and her family closer to Christmas time, so you can look forward to that!
