Emma and Kyle’s wedding day was a beautiful and joyous celebration, filled with love, laughter, and stunning natural light. Their special day began at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Pearland, where I started capturing memories at noon. The excitement and anticipation were palpable as Emma and her bridesmaids got ready, while Kyle and his groomsmen shared laughs and pre-ceremony moments.

One of my favorite moments from the day was Emma’s father seeing her in her wedding dress for the first time. The emotions on his face spoke volumes, and capturing that heartfelt reaction was truly special. St. Helen’s provided a breathtaking setting for their ceremony, with its large windows allowing natural light to stream in, creating a warm and ethereal ambiance. Following the ceremony, we captured formal family portraits on the altar, preserving those timeless memories with their loved ones.

After the ceremony, we made our way to La Maison Blanc for the reception. Before heading inside, we took advantage of the stunning outdoor setting to capture portraits of the newlyweds. The venue’s elegant charm and the afternoon sun made for the perfect backdrop, highlighting Emma and Kyle’s happiness as they officially began their new life together.
A Unique Afternoon Reception
One unique aspect of this wedding was the reception start time—3 PM. Typically, wedding receptions begin closer to or after sunset, but this timing allowed us to take advantage of the gorgeous natural light pouring in through the venue’s windows. The entire space felt bright and airy, enhancing the joyful atmosphere as guests celebrated with the couple.
Memorable Moments and a Magical Exit
The reception was filled with fun and meaningful moments, including the traditional cake cutting, heartfelt toasts, and special dances. Every detail reflected Emma and Kyle’s personalities, making the celebration truly their own. We photographed through the grand exit at 8 PM, where the couple made their way through a cascade of disintegrating confetti. The way the confetti sparkled in the night air made for some truly magical photos, perfectly concluding their unforgettable day.
