Deep in the <3 of Texas

The stars at night, are big and bright,
deep in the heart of Texas,
The prairie sky is wide and high,
deep in the heart of Texas.
The sage in bloom is like perfume,
deep in the heart of Texas,
Reminds me of, the one I love,
deep in the heart of Texas.

On my trip to Austin, I was able to photograph the ones I love and the heart of Texas, starting with the Capital Building.  Luckily, our hotel was just a couple of blocks away so I took pictures of the building at sunrise.  It was a little chilly but totally worth it.

I wish the building wasn’t under construction, but it was still fun for me to wonder around and get some practice taking landscape photos.
