A Fall Wedding at The Springs Magnolia Manor | Stephanye & Michael
Stephanye & Micheal’s wedding was one of those weddings that I just feel happy when I think about it. Stephanye and I had worked together for years before her wedding day. She has Stephanye Lynn Events, a wedding coordination business. When she chose me as her photographer, I was so honored, because I know she has worked with so many wedding vendors! I was also so excited, because she has the eye for design! She has designed a couple styled shoots for me that have been featured on other wedding blogs!
Stephanye and Michael had beautiful weather for their wedding day! Everything looked great, and it wasn’t too hot or cold!
Stephanye & Michael chose Magnolia Manor in Angleton, TX as their wedding venue. This is a beautiful white mansion venue that has a beautifully landscaped white gazebo outside. Most people have their ceremony under the gazebo and their reception inside the Manor. There are tons of huge old Oak trees all around the venue and a long white fence drive leading up to the manor. The Springs designed this place with Weddings in mind. Stephanye and I had actually done one of our styled shoots here years before!
Stephanye had gorgeous gold decor with pink and burgundy accents. I loved the gold piping she incorporated into the designs!
I love the area around the ceremony site, and the girls were able to be ready early enough so we could go outside before ceremony to take some photos in front of the floral arch and save some of the time needed after ceremony, leaving more time for photos of Stephanye and Michael.
Another special celebration on their wedding date is that Stephanye was celebrating being 15 years cancer free! Imagine how much addtional gratitude that gives. Her Bridesmaids bought her balloons to celebrate. They didn’t have the number one, so they bought an I.
One of the things I loved about Stephanye and Michael’s wedding is that Steph and Mike were just so incredibly grateful to have found each other and to be having this day. When people feel this way, it is so easy to see and it is a beautiful thing to watch.
Stephanye and Michael were able to include their little dogs in their ceremony. The dogs did so well! They were just watching the ceremony along with all the other guests!
After ceremony, we photographed Stephanye and Michael all around Magnolia Manor! I love to capture the natural setting, as well as the Manor!
Stephanye and Michael entered the reception through Magnolia Manor’s Grand Staircase! They went straight into their first dance!
The reception had all those wonderful special moments with dances, toasts, cake cutting! Another nice thing about Magnolia Manor is that there is a lot of space. You can make more room on the dance floor by putting tables upstairs as well!
The couple exited to sparklers at the end of the night!
